Connect activity to what actually happened next
Choose a small set of records your business already keeps. For each inquiry or job, look for a responsible person, current outcome, and unresolved next action. Use that evidence to choose one improvement.
A website visit, automation trigger, or stored message doesn't establish a customer outcome.
A workshop knows it received inquiries this week but can't explain which still need replies. Counting more messages won't answer that. Reviewing the unresolved ones with the person responsible can.
Use a table you can actually maintain
Start with: received date, request type, owner, current state, and next action. Keep personal details in the private record — not a shared public report. Define what 'booked,' 'completed,' and 'awaiting customer' mean so colleagues count the same thing.
Choose one consistent time window. Record missing info as unknown. Don't silently convert an unanswered question into a lost sale — you need more context to know why a person didn't proceed.
Spot the pattern that's slowing you down
Look for the same unresolved step across several records: nobody assigned a callback, an outdated preparation note, a cancellation without a decision. Note observed frequency in your sample — don't invent an annual cost. Money estimates require real values and stated assumptions.
For the workshop, a handful of unassigned callbacks might suggest a daily inbox owner. Decide that action and check next week whether the same records were handled. Keep other possible improvements parked so the review stays manageable.
Use what you learn before buying more traffic
Check whether existing inquiries receive the promised response and whether the team can handle more. Traffic might still be needed — but a known unanswered request deserves attention first.
Your DiagBizCard provides a public info route. It doesn't automatically produce this report or reveal a customer's reason for leaving.
The Weekly Decision Sheet
Pick one real situation. Copy these five lines into your notes and fill them in. The complete tool is right here — no signup or email needed.
Example: last working week / inquiry log / callback requests without an owner / inbox cover unclear / workshop manager assigns daily cover and checks the unresolved list next review.
If the records are incomplete, repair the missing state before estimating outcomes. If several issues appear, choose one that affects current work and assign a concrete action.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a dashboard?
No. A short private table might be enough. Add automation only when you know what records and decisions it should support.
Can I turn every unresolved inquiry into lost revenue?
No. A person may have chosen not to proceed for many reasons. Separate observed work from estimates and explain any assumptions.
